Sligo man suffered multiple blows to the head

A murder inquiry was launched today after a post-mortem examination showed a man found dead in Sligo had suffered multiple blows to the head.

Paul Waters, from Avondale in Sligo, was found lying in an alleyway off the town’s Stephens Street.
