Four pubs found to have discriminated against Travellers

The Equality Tribunal has upheld complaints by members of the Travelling community against four pubs in Co Limerick and Co Kerry.

The Equality Tribunal has upheld complaints by members of the Travelling community against four pubs in Co Limerick and Co Kerry.

The pubs in question were Foley’s Bar in Rathkeale, Molly’s B’s in Rathkeale, Ivan’s Bar in Kilmallock and the Osborne Bar in Tralee.

They were found to have discriminated against a total of 13 people on the basis of their membership of the Travelling community.

The cases were among 22 published by the Equality Tribunal this morning.
