Belfast family escapes injury in suspected racist attack
A couple and their five-year-old daughter have escaped unharmed following a petrol bomb attack on their home in south Belfast early this morning.
The PSNI said two petrol bombs hit a front bedroom window of the house on Fane Street while the family was sleeping at around 2.20am.
The devices caused minor scorch damage to the front of the house.
Police believe the attack may have been racially-motivated.
If so, it would be the latest in a string of racist attacks by loyalists in south Belfast.
