The High Court is due to hear an application today by a group of Cork Habour residents who are trying to prevent the construction of a toxic waste incinerator in Ringaskiddy.

The group is seeking a judicial review of An Bórd Pleanála’s decision to approve the incinerator against the advice of its own senior planning inspector.
