Two in court over teenager's death

Two men arrested in connection with the death of a Cavan teenager will appear in court today.

Gardaí said the men will be charged with immigration offences at a special sitting of Cavan District Court.

A third man who was arrested is expected to be released.

The men were arrested yesterday for questioning about the death of Jamie Farrelly Maughan, 13, whose body was found last Sunday in the back garden of the house in the Harmony Heights area of Cavan.

She had been last seen a week earlier in the Aughnaskerry estate in the town.
