Textile firm Adria to lay off 58 workers
A textile firm based in Northern Ireland has announced plans to lay off 58 workers due to “extremely competitive” market conditions.
Adria, which employs 870 people in Strabane, Newry and Derry, said the lay-offs were necessary to reduce overheads and protect the company’s future.
The company, which also has plants in England, did not say if the job cuts would be limited to the North.
