Gardaí investigate as body found in Cork

A Garda investigation has been launched after the discovery of a man's body in a playground in Cork in the early hours this morning.

The man, who is believed to have attended a party in Grattan Hill, was taken to the South Infirmary Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A post-mortem will take place later today.
