Child's body found on Dublin beach

The body of a seven-year-old boy has been found on a beach in North County Dublin this morning.

The child's body was discovered on Balbriggan beach at 10.50am.

He had been reported missing a short time earlier. A Garda investigation is underway and emergency services are currently at the scene.
