Trimble says 'drift' in Northern talks must end
The British governments was today urged to stop the "drift" in talks aimed at restoring devolution in Northern Ireland.
As British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Taoiseach Bertie Ahern prepared to meet some of the North’s politicians in London tomorrow, Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble said there had been a lack of substantive progress in the talks over the past six months.
