Authorities seize three million cigs

Authorities in Rosslare have seized more than three million cigarettes illegally imported.

The haul with a potential loss to the exchequer of €790,000 was found in a truck and trailer which arrived on a ferry from Britain.

The consignment contained brands including Superkings, Benson and Hedges, Regal and Number 1's.
