A 10-year business plan prepared by Aer Rianta has reportedly stated that €1.2bn in capital expenditure will be needed to upgrade Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.

Reports this morning said the plan, outlined at a board meeting yesterday, suggested that Dublin would need €1bn in investment, Cork would need €200m and Shannon would need €75m.
