Mitchell wants working women to be rewarded

Fine Gael Euro election candidate Gay Mitchell has called for better treatment of women in the workplace.

Deputy Mitchell says that women have contributed immensely to the growth of the Irish economy and therefore should be rewarded so they may continue to do so.

He is proposing that the Government help with the soaring childcare costs, which he described as being ‘out of control’, by making these costs tax deductible.
