Cork gardaí launch murder inquiry after stabbing
Gardaí in Cork have launched a murder inquiry after a post mortem on the body of a 27-year-old man confirmed that he had been stabbed to death.
Patrick Walsh’s body was found by a relative in a bedroom at his home in Fairhill Drive early yesterday.
The initial results of a post mortem carried out last night indicated that he had been stabbed, though the full results are not expected until later today.
