Investment urged to ensure Dublin Airport safety
The Chairman of Aer Rianta has today said that Dublin Airport could be unsafe due to congestion within 12 months if there is not significant investment.
Noel Hanlon made the comments today at the publication of the company's annual report for 2003, where profits of €20m were announced.
Mr Hanlon called on the Government to publish the report into the proposed break-up of the semi-state body, but claimed that there was no need for an aviation regulator.
He claimed airports could be self-regulatory.
