Disruption likely as electricians threaten to strike

Major disruption to the construction industry is being threatened after 95% of electricians in the Technical Engineering and Electrical Union voted for strike action today.

The dispute centres on a 1% pay rise due under the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness which the union says has not been paid.
