Report highlights problems of spinal injury

A new report has highlighted the problems spinal injury suffers can face.

The report come as Ireland's first Spinal Injuries Awareness Week got underway today.

Reports show increased employment, housing and transport problems facing those who have sustained this type of injury.

Spinal Injuries Ireland has said the Government must recognise Spinal Cord Injuries as being a long-term illness.
