Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has hit back at Justice Minister Michael McDowell after he accused the party of being of being “completely subservient” to the IRA.

Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has hit back at Justice Minister Michael McDowell after he accused the party of being of being “completely subservient” to the IRA.

Speaking at the launch of his party’s local and European election campaigns in Dublin today. Mr Adams said the Justice Minister was jeopardising the peace process by pushing his own agenda to become leader of the Progressive Democrats.
