Gardaí unable to implement speed check plan

Gardaí say they are unable to carry out the level of speed checks that the Government is demanding.

Reports this morning said a confidential garda document revealed that the Force was capable of carrying out just 3% of the 11 million speed checks due to be asked for in the Government’s new road safety strategy.
