Lotto hopefuls advised to play early

The National Lottery is advising people to play Lotto early this weekend to avoid the queues.

Huge interest is expected for this Saturday's bumper Easter draw which is heading for over €5m - the highest so far this year.

Spokesperson for the National Lottery, Paula McEvoy, is hoping for lots of winners to come forward next Tuesday to claim the record prize.
