Antrim coast gets major cash injection
The coastline of Co Antrim is to get £50m (€75.6m) to revive the tourism potential of the scenic coastline.
The 10-year-long project has already started in a bid to boost tourism revenue from the area and double employment in the sector.
The area around the Giant's Causeway, and Antrim Glens already attracts thousands of visitors annually.
The key recommendation is the creation of a tourist trail along the coast, akin to the Ring of Kerry.
Tourism figures were up last summer when the marching season was its quietest in living memory.
