AGSI discusses paedophile proposals

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors is due to debate a controversial motion at its annual conference this week calling for information on convicted paedophiles to be made available to the public.

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors is due to debate a controversial motion at its annual conference this week calling for information on convicted paedophiles to be made available to the public.

The motion has been proposed by the Wexford/Wicklow branch of the association.

Around 200 delegates are expected to attend the AGSI conference, which takes place in Cork over the next three days.
