Hunt for missing academic

A man missing on the north Antrim coast is a top academic, it emerged today.

Professor Stephen Livingstone, 43, who once headed the School of Law at Queen’s University, Belfast, has not been seen for two days.

A major land and sea search operation for the human rights expert was today centred on the shoreline near Ballycastle.

Mr Livingstone drove from his home in east Belfast and parked his car at Dunseverick Castle on Saturday.
