Reward offered in bid to catch dog killers

A distraught dog-owner today offered a £1,000 (€1,500) reward in a bid to hunt down burglars who killed his pet and dumped the bloodied body over a fence.

Ian Rutledge hit out at thieves who battered his nine-year-old Alsatian pet Shane when they broke into his home in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.
