Sinn Féin demand major overhaul of Garda structures

Sinn Féin is calling for a total overhaul of An Garda Siochana, similar to the Patten reforms introduced in the North in recent years.

Dublin South East TD Daithí Doolan feels the force is stuck in a by-gone era, because its structures remain largely unchanged since its inception 80 years ago.
