Rabbitte seeking cross-party motion urging IRA to disband

Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte has written to the Taoiseach seeking a cross-party Dáil motion calling on the IRA to end paramilitary activity and disband.

Mr Rabbitte said it was time for the IRA to end its illegal activities and allow democratically elected politicians to do the job they were elected to do.
