A small number of DART services in Dublin have been cancelled this morning after several drivers failed to show up for work.

The workers did not report for duty this morning despite a decision by the SIPTU leadership to call off a planned 24-hour bus and rail strike that was due to go ahead today.

The union’s CIE strike committee was angered by the cancellation and accused the leadership of acting of behind the backs of the workers.
