Greens and PDs clash over land claims

A row has broken out between the Green Party and the Progressive Democrats.

It follows allegations made by the Green Party leader, Trevor Sargent, at the party's Ard Fheis in Galway today.

He claimed that members of the PD's are withholding land for sale. The Progressive Democrats have reacted angrily.

Chairman of the PD's parliamentary party, Noel Grealish, is demanding the remarks be immediately withdrawn.
