Gardaí say foetus discovered not human

Gardaí in Dublin have called off their investigation into the discovery of a foetus in a Ballyfermot car park.

The investigation was called off this morning after medical examinations revealed that the foetus was not human.

The “foetus” was found in the car park of a public health centre on the junction of Ballyfermot Road and Drumfinn Road at around 3.50pm yesterday.
