B&Q to create up to 300 jobs

B&Q has announced plans to create up to 300 jobs at two new stores in Dublin and Cork by early next year.

The company said its Dublin store would be located in the Airside Retail Park in Swords and the Cork store at O’Callaghan Properties in Mahon Point.

Meanwhile, a new airline based in Dublin has announced its intention to hire up to 50 people if its business is successful.

The company, flyjetgreen.com, is due to begin a daily service from Dublin to Malaga and Alicante from May 4.
