Gardaí arrest man following stabbing

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man following a fatal stabbing in the city centre last night.

The victim, who was in his 40s, was stabbed at the Back Lounge pub on Exchange Street at around 11.30pm.

He was taken to St James’ Hospital, where he died a short time later.
