Man shot dead in Dublin pub
Gardaí have launched a murder investigation following a fatal shooting in Dublin’s south inner city last night.
The victim, named locally as Paul Warren, was reportedly shot three times in the head in the toilets of Grays Pub, formerly the Red Lion, near Cork Street at around 11pm.
The attack was carried out by two armed and masked men, one of whom stood guard at the door of the pub.
The victim was believed to be in his early 20s.
The scene of the shooting has been sealed off for technical examination later today.
