A series of public meetings on the future of the Maze Prison site in the North has resulted in greatly opposed positions on what should be built there.

Some people want a sports stadium or motor racing track built on the site outside Lisburn, while others believe it should be used for social housing, an industrial base or a science park.

Republicans, meanwhile, want the hospital wing where 10 IRA men died on hunger strike in 1981 to be turned into a museum.
