Bord Pleanála approves Doonbeg golf course development

An Bord Pleanála has approved plans to build luxury accommodation, cottages, a clubhouse and a shop at the Doonbeg golf course in west Clare.

The owners of the Greg Norman-designed course said construction on the new facilities would begin this spring.
