Taoiseach to seek reduction in professionals’ fees

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has announced his intention to seek a reduction in fees charged by some professionals in Ireland.

Mr Ahern told the Dáil today that he intended to press the Competition Authority to investigate the high fees charged by doctors, dentists, architects, engineers and others.
