Daffodil Day details announced

The Irish Cancer Society has announced details of its annual Daffodil Day fundraiser.

The fundraiser will go ahead on March 19 this year and will focus on the Irish Cancer Society’s night nursing service.

The service provides free nursing to the families of terminally ill cancer patients.

The Cancer Society said around 1,000 families benefited from the scheme last year.
