Strong support for EU constitution

Almost half Irish voters are strongly in favour of an EU constitution instead of the development of a two-speed or two-tier Europe, an opinion poll claims today.

The Irish Times poll said 47% of Irish voters back the establishment of an EU constitution while 21% were against.
