FG Senator seeks exhumation of gynaecologist's body

Fine Gael Senator Paul Bradford has reportedly called for the exhumation of the body of a disgraced gynaecologist, amid fresh claims that he faked his death.

Rodney Ledward apparently died of cancer in October 2000, and was buried close to his home in Dromahane, Co Cork.

However, reports this morning said a retired detective, who investigated indecent assault allegations against Mr Ledward in Britain, claims he saw the former doctor in Spain in 2001.
