Two killed in Antrim road accident

Two people were killed in an overnight road accident in Co Antrim as icy conditions hit Northern Ireland.

Both victims died in a crash on the Trench Road at Mallusk, on the outskirts of Belfast.

The accident happened shortly after 4am.

Another person injured in the crash was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast where their condition was reported to be critical.
