Taoiseach urged to target racism

Labour MEP Pronsias de Rossa is calling on the Taoiseach to put anti-racism high on his agenda during his Presidency of the European Union.

Mr De Rossa said Bertie Ahern should press for the publication of a recent EU report on racism against Jews and have it debated in the Dáil as soon as possible.

He says racist attitudes are still widespread and need to be addressed.
