Gardaí in Limerick have arrested three men following a shooting incident in Limerick this morning.

A number of shots were fired at a house on Flood Street, in the Garryowen area, at around 9.40am.

Nobody was injured in the attack.

A Garda spokesman said officers on patrol in the area heard the shots and subsequently arrested two men in their 30s and one in his 20s.

They also found a sawn-off shotgun and a .22 rifle on waste ground nearby.
