George Redmond report to be published today
The Planning Tribunal’s report into the activities of George Redmond will reportedly be published later today.
This morning’s newspapers said the report would focus on Mr Redmond’s financial dealings with several builders, including James Gogarty of JMSE, Tom Brennan of Brennan&McGowan and Michael Bailey of Bovale Developments.
The report was compiled by Justice Fergus Flood, the former chairman of the tribunal, who retired last year.
Mr Redmond, a former assistant Dublin city and county manager, is serving a 12-month prison sentence after he was convicted last November of accepting a bribe from a Dublin businessman in the late 1980s.
