Man released in jet bomb scare investigation

Gardaí in Co Clare have released the 19-year-old man arrested yesterday in connection with an investigation into a bomb scare on board a transatlantic jet.

The German national was a passenger on the Delta Airlines jet that made an emergency landing at Shannon on Sunday after a note saying ‘bomb on board’ was found in the toilet.
