Tipperary crash claims pensioner's life

A pensioner has died after a collision on the main Carrick-on-Suir to Waterford road in Co Tipperary.

The incident happened at about 9.30am today.

The driver of a car, who's believed to be in his late 70's or early 80’s, was rushed to Waterford Regional Hospital, but efforts to resuscitate him failed.
