Iran kidnap victim arrives in Ireland
The Irishman kidnapped in Iran last November has travelled to Ireland to visit his relatives following his release just over a week ago.
Aidan Leahy, who lives in London, is also due to meet officials from the Iranian Embassy, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Irish Red Cross, all of whom helped secure his release.
Mr Leahy was kidnapped along with two Germans while cycling in the Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchistan, near the Pakistani border.
His kidnappers apparently claimed they were working for Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaida network.
