The National Lottery has appealed to the winner of the €5.6m Christmas Eve Lotto jackpot to come forward and collect his or her prize.

The winning ticket, a €6 quick-pick, was purchased in the Lucan area of Dublin.

The ticket-holder has 90 days to collect the jackpot, one of the highest ever in the history of the Lotto.
