Man recovering after Dublin shooting

A man is recovering in hospital this morning, following a shooting incident at a house in west Dublin.

A number of shots were fired through the window of a house at Whitechapel Green in Clonsilla at around 1am.

The victim, a man in his mid-20s, suffered pellet wounds to his back.

He was taken to the James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown.
