Ireland to depend more on green energy

Ireland will be relying more and more on green energy over the next two decades.

A target of up to 30% clean energy by 2020 is contained in a study launched today by Marine and Natural Resources Minister Dermot Ahern.

However, the moratorium on further wind energy connections to the natural grid remains.
