The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, is due to meet European Parliament president Pat Cox in Dublin today to discuss Ireland’s upcoming presidency of the EU.

Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen and Junior Minister Dick Roche will also attend the talks.
