Intellectually disabled without decision-making rights - Namhi
People with an intellectual disability do not have clear rights to make decisions, according to Deirdre Carroll of 'Namhi', the association which represents those with intellectual disabilities.
She says the laws on determining who has decision making capacity are inadequate and the arrangements for supported decision-making are non-existent.
