Man recovering following shooting incident in Tallaght overnight

A man in his twenties is recovering in hospital in Dublin after being shot in the arm in an overnight incident.

The man was shot by a lone gunman in the Knockmore Green area of Tallaght just after midnight.

He required surgery at Tallaght Hospital for the wounds but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
